Connecting iPad to Spirio

Bluetooth Connection

Tap the Settings icon on the home screen of the iPad
Tap the Bluetooth icon to switch it on.
Press the pair button on the Bluetooth wireless device (located under the curved side of piano) to pair with the iPad.
Tap the corresponding Spirio piano and serial number that will appear under My Devices in the iPad’s Settings.

If the corresponding Spirio does not appear under My Devices, try the following:

Turn off, then turn on the Bluetooth button in the iPad settings
Power cycle the piano (unplug it, wait 10 seconds and plug it back in), which will reset the Bluetooth device
Turn off, then turn on the iPad, by holding down the small button on the top right of the iPad.

Airplay

AirPlay is the wireless streaming technology the iPad uses to stream Spirio data to the piano. When the Bluetooth is turned on and connected to the piano, AirPlay will automatically engage. If AirPlay becomes disconnected, a warning message will appear in the Spirio App. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen, tap the AirPlay icon, and select the corresponding Spirio Piano to re-connect.

Device Output Volume

The iPad output volume controls the Spirio data flow from the iPad to the piano. The output volume does not control the volume of the music and should never be set below 100%. If the output volume goes below 70% an error message in the app will instruct the user to increase the output volume.

Hardwire Connection

Disconnect the 3.5mm audio cable from the Bluetooth device (located on the top right of the Bluetooth adapter). This cable runs between the Bluetooth device and the RCA IN of the power supply/processor unit.
Connect iPad to the audio cable using a 3.5mm female to male audio cable extension.
To return to a normal wireless Bluetooth connection, make sure the audio cable is securely reconnected to the Bluetooth device.
